Getting Started in RE:Heads, Please!

Redeem codes, flip the free Penny, roll the Fountain, then skate before you waste Enchant Books.

Getting Started

You spawn at Pancake Station with a free Penny and a live Roblox server around you. RE:Heads, Please! has been in open beta since 18 July 2026. The first hour is a short loop: bank free rewards, flip until cash appears, roll a better coin at the Fountain, turn on Auto Flip, and take the skateboard out of the plaza. Everything else on this wiki hangs off that loop.

This is not the older Heads, Please! title. There is no purple tree route, no Vine Coin craft, and no Yut shop. If a video shows those, you are watching the wrong place. Join RE:Heads, Please! on Roblox, wait for the station to load, then follow the order below.

Minute zero: redeem codes first

Open the shop cart on the left side of the HUD. Scroll to the bottom. Paste each working string from the codes list and hit Redeem. Codes in this game pay Enchant Books, Accessory Tickets, Luck Soda, Wealth Soda, Energy Drink, and — after Update 2.5 — Engraving Scrolls. They do not always dump raw cash. That is still the best start in the file, because books and tickets are annoying to farm from flips alone.

Do not open those books yet. Put tickets aside too. You will roll accessories later; you will enchant only after Fountain gives you a coin you intend to keep. If a code fails, you typed it wrong or it expired. The live table is on codes, not in this guide.

Flip the free Penny

Penny costs $0 and pays $10. Click or tap to toss. Heads pays more than tails. You are not hunting a secret here. You are stacking enough cash to interact with the Fountain on the first floor of Pancake Station. If clicking feels pointless, look at the HUD for Auto Flip next to your cash and turn it on. That toggle is the real beginner upgrade. Game-pass VIP at 399 Robux adds 20% MoneyEarn on top; skip it until the loop is muscle memory.

If the toss does nothing, you are in a menu. Close the shop cart. Controls lists PC and mobile inputs, including the left-side icons people misclick: coin, accessories, crate, scroll, shop cart, and gear.

Fountain before the shop sticker shock

Walk to the Fountain on Pancake Station’s first floor. That fountain is the coin gacha. Spend cash there, not on every high number printed in a shop tooltip. Several coins list around $2M — Dalgona, Plush, Gear, Seaweed — and pay $15 to $100. Friendship pays $150 after a $50K buy. The how to get better coins page is the full argument. The short version for hour one:

  1. Stay on Penny until you can afford a real step up.
  2. Slime ($30 profit / $1K) is the first honest upgrade.
  3. Clover ($40 / $10K) is the next stop if Fountain has not already handed you something better.
  4. Friendship ($150 / $50K) is the first coin that feels like a job instead of a tutorial.
  5. Ignore $2M listings until midgame cash is boring.

If Fountain luck skips a rung, keep the higher profit coin. Profit beats sticker price. Confirm numbers on the coin list and the keep-or-skip call on the coin tier list.

Do not waste Enchant Books

Books drop from codes and, less often, from flips. Each coin holds one enchant. Books do not move when you swap coins. Enchanting Penny is how beginners light a code reward on fire. Hold Wealth, Luck, Flash, and Heads for a coin you will still flip after the first hour. Heavy is a tradeoff (less flip speed, more money), not a trophy. Engraving Scrolls from Update 2.5 codes are even rarer — do not burn those on junk either. The full rule set is in How to Enchant Coins.

Sodas are the opposite of books: they are meant to be drunk. Luck Soda helps a Fountain session. Wealth Soda helps a cash grind. Energy Drink helps a long Auto Flip sit. Use them when you are actually rolling or flipping, not the second they land.

Skate once before you alt-tab

Press Q to ride the skateboard and R to boost (official description). Space still jumps. On mobile, use the on-screen skate controls after the joystick. You do not need a late-game coin to leave spawn. Pancake Station is the hub. Another Station is subway-style sub content with EXIT signs and tiled platforms. Ruined Station is a mining loop where coin rarity does not change mining progress, so a Penny mines as honestly as a Calendar. The map page is Stations and Skateboard.

Skate once even if Auto Flip is printing slowly. The game is an incremental with a station to explore, not a single plaza with a hidden shop. Accessory Tickets roll looks, not profit; spend a few if you care, save the rest if you do not. Auto Accessory Gacha Speed at 99 Robux only matters if you are rolling a pile of tickets.

First-hour checklist

  • Redeem every live code from the left shop cart.
  • Flip Penny; enable Auto Flip.
  • Roll Fountain; keep the highest profit coin you actually own.
  • Do not buy $2M-listed coins yet.
  • Do not enchant Penny.
  • Drink sodas only during a real grind.
  • Press Q, boost with R, and find Another Station or Ruined Station once.
  • Bookmark codes, Getting Started, and the coin list.

When the checklist is done, you are past the tutorial even though the game never labelled one. Next cash goes into the Fountain path on How to Get Better Coins. Next book waits for a keeper. Next session starts by checking codes again, because CCU milestone strings expire.

If the first hour felt slow, you stayed on Penny too long or you enchanted it. Equip whatever Fountain paid, leave Auto Flip running, and skate the platform once so the station stops feeling like a loading screen.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for coin flips, codes, and stations.

What should I do in the first five minutes?

Open the left shop cart, redeem every string on the codes list, close the cart, then click or tap to flip Penny. Turn on Auto Flip as soon as you see it.

When do I stop using Penny?

The moment Fountain (or a cheap buy) gives a higher profit coin. Slime at $1K is the first planned swap. Keep any luck roll that already pays more. See How to Get Better Coins.

Should I enchant my starter coin?

No. One enchant per coin, and books do not transfer. Save Wealth, Luck, Flash, and Heads for a coin you will still flip later. Full rules: enchanting.

Where is the skateboard?

You already have it. On PC, Q rides and R boosts. On mobile, use the on-screen skate controls. Map loops are in Stations and Skateboard.

Is Auto Flip required?

It is the intended way to grind. Manual clicks still work, but the HUD toggle is how you stack cash while you walk to the Fountain or skate to Another Station.

Do I need VIP to start?

No. VIP is 399 Robux for +20% MoneyEarn. Auto Accessory Gacha Speed is 99 Robux. Codes, Penny, and Fountain cover the first hour without paying.
