RE:Heads, Please! Stations and Skateboard
Pancake Station, the Fountain, subway Another Station, Ruined Station mining, and Q/R skate.
RE:Heads, Please! is an incremental with a map. You can stand in Pancake Station and Auto Flip until Graph appears, but the place is built as stations you skate between. Official copy says hop on a skateboard and explore, then travel Another Station for sub content. This page is that map: the hub, the Fountain, the subway, the mine, and why leaving spawn is not a side quest. Input details sit in Controls. The first-hour order sits in Getting Started. Patch context sits in updates.
The game has been live in open beta since 18 July 2026. Servers are up. You skate in a public instance, not a lobby that unlocks later.
Pancake Station (hub)
You load into Pancake Station. This is the plaza: other players, the left HUD, the shop cart, and the first-floor Fountain. Learn this floor before you hunt secrets. Codes are not hidden in a back room. They are at the bottom of the left shop cart. Gear, crate, accessories, and scroll icons are HUD, not world props you have to find.
Pancake Station is also where new coins start to matter. Equip upgrades from the coin icon before you skate out, or you will ride to Another Station still flipping Penny. Fountain luck does not follow you as an unequipped bag item that auto-pays. The equipped coin is the one that prints cash while you explore.
Stay long enough to redeem codes, turn on Auto Flip, and roll once. Then leave. The hub is a spawn, not a cage.
Fountain (first floor gacha)
The Fountain on Pancake Station’s first floor is the coin gacha. Walk to it. Spend cash. That is how Slime, Clover, Friendship, and the rest of the board enter play besides the cheap early buys. It is not a wishing well for lore. It is a roll machine sitting on the hub floor so you can grind without a loading screen.
Luck Soda belongs here. Luck enchants belong on a keeper you still plan to roll with. Do not drink every soda at spawn and then skate away from the Fountain for twenty minutes. The how to get better coins page is the economy. This page only places the object: first floor, Pancake Station, walk up, roll.
If you cannot see it, zoom the camera out. The station reads at medium distance. A fully zoomed avatar hides the floor the Fountain sits on.
Another Station (subway sub content)
Another Station is subway-style sub content. Real screenshots show EXIT signs and tiled platforms, not a second plaza with the same fountain copied. Official description: travel Another Station and enjoy sub content. Treat it as a different loop you skate to, not a rename of Pancake Station.
Ride there on the board. Q mounts, R boosts, Space jumps. Tiled floors and platform edges are why boost exists. Walking the whole tunnel on foot is possible and boring. Auto Flip should already be on so the ride is not unpaid.
Sub content is extra, not a gate. You do not need Calendar or a Heavy III to ride the subway. You need Q and a little curiosity. If an EXIT sign looks like a loading trigger, walk toward it on the tiles and see what the beta actually opens. Do not expect the older game’s Galaxy Room, Time Dimension, or purple-tree drop. Those belong to the other Heads, Please!.
When a patch adds a new station beat, it will show up in updates. Until then, Another Station is the named subway and the reason the skateboard is on the official control list.
Ruined Station (mining)
Ruined Station is the mine. You use coins to mine ores and items. Coin rarity does not change mining progress. Penny mines as honestly as Lock. That line saves people from swapping to a $50M Calendar “for mining efficiency” and then wondering why the bar did not care.
Bring whichever coin you already Auto Flip for cash. Mining is a second loop on top of flips, not a replacement for Fountain. If mining drops something you do not understand, check the coin list only if it is actually a coin. Ores and mine items are station loot; they are not secret Pen Coin by default.
You still skate in. Q and R. If you walked from Pancake Station, you paid in time. Boost on the board, keep Auto Flip running, mine, skate back when you want the Fountain again.
Skateboard: Q ride, R boost
Official description:
- Coin Flip: Click or Touch
- Skateboard Ride: Q
- Skateboard Boost: R
On PC that is literal. On mobile, use the on-screen skate controls after the joystick. Boost is a speed burst for platforms and corridors, not a double jump. You can jump on the board with Space. If R does nothing, you are not riding — press Q first.
Why the board exists:
- Pancake Station is larger than the spawn screenshot.
- Another Station is a subway. Subways are long.
- Ruined Station is a detour. Detours punish walking.
- Auto Flip pays while you move. Standing still is optional.
Walk I (+2% walk speed) is a consolation enchant if you refuse the board. It is not a skate replacement. Put movement enchants on junk coins if they land; keep Wealth and Flash for the money coin. See How to Enchant Coins.
Why explore at all
Because the game tells you to, and because the HUD is built for it. Auto Flip, a skate mount, and three named stations are not decoration. Exploring:
- Keeps cash flowing while you look at EXIT signs and mine loops.
- Stops the first hour from being a single fountain screenshot.
- Makes Accessory Ticket looks visible on a character who is actually going somewhere.
- Surfaces whatever sub content RE:COS.Studio parked off the hub — the subway is real, the mine is real, and later patches will hang more on those floors.
You do not explore to find codes. Codes stay in the left cart. You do not explore to buy $2M Seaweed. You explore because Ruined Station mining ignores rarity, Another Station is a different space, and Q/R is free.
Skate once even if you are still on Penny. Another Station and Ruined Station are not endgame gates. They are extra loops that pay while Auto Flip runs. After the ride, check updates so a new station beat does not surprise you, then return to the beginner loop if cash is still low.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for coin flips, codes, and stations.
Where is the Fountain?
On the first floor of Pancake Station. It is the coin gacha. Walk to it, spend cash, then equip the new coin from the left HUD.
How do I use the skateboard?
Q rides, R boosts on PC. Mobile uses on-screen skate buttons. Jump still works. Full key list: Controls.
What is Another Station?
Subway-style sub content with EXIT signs and tiled platforms. Official copy tells you to travel there. Skate; do not treat it as a copy of Pancake Station.
Does a better coin mine faster at Ruined Station?
No. Coin rarity does not change mining progress. Mine with the coin you already flip for cash.
Do I need a late-game coin to leave spawn?
No. Penny can skate. Auto Flip pays on the board. Leave after codes and a Fountain roll. First-hour order: Getting Started.
Will more stations be added?
The beta already has Pancake Station, Another Station, and Ruined Station. Watch updates for new floors, codes, and items like Engraving Scrolls.
