RE:Heads, Please! How to Get Better Coins
Roll the Pancake Station Fountain, chase profit not $2M stickers, and follow Slime into Friendship.
Better coins are how RE:Heads, Please! stops feeling like a $10 tapper. You flip, you earn cash, you spend that cash at the Fountain on the first floor of Pancake Station, you equip whatever pays more, you repeat. The trap is treating every listed shop price as a buy button. Several coins show $2M and pay less than Friendship. This page is the path: Fountain first, profit versus price, the Slime–Clover–Friendship climb, then the expensive late board. Raw numbers live on the coin list. Keep-or-skip ranks live on the coin tier list.
You should already have redeemed codes and turned on Auto Flip. If not, do that on Getting Started before you dump cash into a roll.
Fountain gacha, not a day-one mall
Pancake Station’s first-floor Fountain is the coin gacha. Walk to it. Spend money there. That is the intended way most coins enter the bag. High listed prices in a shop tooltip are not a beginner shopping list. Treat anything sitting at $2M as Fountain luck, a late shop, or a vanity pickup — not a first-hour purchase.
Luck Soda from codes is for this room. Drink it when you are actually rolling, not when you are walking the subway. Luck enchant on a keeper coin also feeds future rolls; that is a enchanting decision, not a reason to enchant Penny.
After a roll, open the coin icon on the left HUD and equip the new piece. Fountain does not always auto-swap. Plenty of players roll Slime, keep flipping Penny, and swear the gacha is fake.
Profit versus price
Read two numbers: profit per flip and buy price. Profit is why you equip a coin. Price is why you wait. Approximate live values:
| Coin | Profit | Listed buy |
|---|---|---|
| Penny | $10 | $0 |
| Slime | $30 | $1K |
| Clover | $40 | $10K |
| Friendship | $150 | $50K |
| Graph | $200 | $200K |
| Rhythm | $250 | $600K |
| Dream | $500 | $800K |
| Zone | $550 | $900K |
| Leveling | $650 | $6M |
| Lock | $1000 | $10M |
| Black Rose | $1100 | $10M |
| Overdrive | $1200 | $15M |
| Calendar | $2500 | $50M |
| Dalgona / Plush / Gear / Seaweed | $15–$100 | ~$2M |
Penny to Slime is a 3× profit jump for $1K. Slime to Clover is a small jump for $10K — take it if Fountain has not skipped you ahead, but do not sit on Clover out of loyalty. Friendship is the first coin whose profit ($150) clearly outruns the early board. Graph through Zone are the mid grind. Leveling through Calendar are late cash sinks.
Dalgona ($15), Plush ($20), Gear ($25), and Seaweed ($100) listing near $2M are the sticker trap. Seaweed’s $100 profit is worse than Friendship’s $150 at a fraction of Friendship’s $50K. Buying a $2M Seaweed “because the shop showed it” is how people stall. If Fountain gifts one, you may equip it only until something with higher profit lands. Do not spend $2M on purpose during the climb.
VIP at 399 Robux (+20% MoneyEarn) multiplies whatever you already flip. It does not make a bad coin good. Auto Accessory Gacha Speed does not touch coin profit at all.
The Slime / Clover / Friendship path
Penny ($10 / $0). Tutorial metal. Flip it with Auto Flip until $1K exists. Do not enchant it.
Slime ($30 / $1K). First planned upgrade. Three times Penny. Buy or roll it, equip it, ignore cosmetics. This is also when you can skate to Another Station without feeling broke; cash still ticks while you ride. See Stations and Skateboard.
Clover ($40 / $10K). A stepping stone, not a personality. Ten thousand is a lot of Slime flips, so prefer a Fountain skip if luck offers Friendship or Graph early. If you must buy Clover, buy it, then stop staring at $2M rows.
Friendship ($150 / $50K). Hour-one boss fight. $150 profit is 15× Penny and 3.75× Clover. This is the coin worth considering a Wealth book, because you will live here while Graph’s $200K price looks huge. Drink Wealth Soda during the push, not after you already sit on Friendship.
Graph ($200 / $200K) and Rhythm ($250 / $600K). Incremental, not exciting. Take Graph when 200K is a sitting, not a dream. Rhythm’s $600K asks you to like $250 more than $200. Do the math against time, not against FOMO.
Dream ($500 / $800K) and Zone ($550 / $900K). The first coins that feel premium. Dream’s $500 at $800K is a cleaner deal than Zone’s extra $50 at $900K unless you already have the cash. Fountain luck should decide; do not force Zone because the name sounds late-game.
Leveling ($650 / $6M) through Calendar ($2500 / $50M). Late shop. Lock and Black Rose share a $10M sticker with $1000 vs $1100 profit — Black Rose wins if you are paying that bill once. Overdrive is $1200 at $15M. Calendar is $2500 at $50M. None of these belong in a first session. Ruined Station mining still does not care which of these you hold; rarity does not change mining progress.
Secret coins (community)
Players report Pen Coin and Scarecrow Coin as unlisted or secret drops. Treat both as community rumors until they sit on the coin list with profit and price. Do not spend $2M hunting a secret. Do not reroll Fountain until broke because a comment said Pen exists. If you own one, equip it only if its profit beats your current coin. The tier list and coin tier list will rank them when the numbers are public.
Accessory Tickets do not roll these. Tickets roll looks. Codes sometimes grant coins (older strings have), but the reliable coin machine is Fountain plus the cheap early buys: Slime, Clover, Friendship.
What to do with a new coin
- Equip it.
- Confirm profit went up. If not, swap back.
- Leave Auto Flip on.
- Hold Enchant Books until the coin is a keeper — Friendship and up for most people.
- Keep rolling Fountain with spare cash; do not freeze the gacha because you “main” Clover.
Chase profit, not the $2M sticker. Friendship at $50K beats a $2M Dalgona that pays $15. Use the coin list when you need a number and the coin tier list when you need a rank. Then go flip the one you equipped.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for coin flips, codes, and stations.
Where do I get new coins?
The Fountain gacha on Pancake Station's first floor is the main source. Early buys worth considering are Slime ($1K), Clover ($10K), and Friendship ($50K). Full table: coin list.
Should I buy Dalgona, Plush, Gear, or Seaweed at $2M?
Not on day one. Those listings pay $15–$100, which loses to Friendship's $150 at $50K. Treat $2M stickers as Fountain/gacha or late shop, not a starter purchase.
What is the early coin path?
Penny → Slime → Clover → Friendship, unless Fountain skips a rung. After Friendship, Graph and Rhythm, then Dream/Zone, then the $6M+ board. Ranks: coin tier list.
Do secret coins exist?
Community reports mention Pen Coin and Scarecrow Coin. They are rumors until listed with profit and price. Do not bankrupt Fountain rolls hunting them.
Does a rarer coin mine faster at Ruined Station?
No. Coin rarity does not change mining progress there. Mine with whatever you already flip. Map notes: Stations and Skateboard.
Does VIP help me get better coins?
VIP (399 Robux, +20% MoneyEarn) speeds cash, which speeds Fountain. It does not add secret rarities. Luck Soda and a Luck enchant help rolls more directly.
